Systems Support: project-based support is instigated from a particular point of customer need. It covers a wide range of requirements, such as troubleshooting, expansion and system replacement.
Systems Design: implementation of a new system, or the improvement of existing systems including custom database/application design, integration of software and hardware, networking, documentation, training and support.
